Kasha and Michael celebrated their love with an intimate summer wedding at the Travis County Courthouse in Austin, Texas. It was a beautiful, warm day that felt perfect for the simplicity of a courthouse elopement. After their ceremony, we made our way to the Texas State Capitol for their portrait session, using the architecture and surrounding grounds as the backdrop. Instead of documenting their day with traditional photography alone, we decided to create a wedding film that would preserve the movement and little in-between moments of the day—the way they looked at each other, walked through the city, and settled into those first moments as newlyweds. Their film is a reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to be large to feel meaningful or cinematic.
